FBI does not believe it is a terrorist attack...

it believes a flock of birds may have gone into the fans while it was departing the runway and is believed it was brought into the water to land...

A co-workers roommate is a pilot and we just called her, apparently when a bird hits the propellers the remains get caught up in there, and overheat the engine causing the pilots not to be able to restart the engines. The pilot on this particular flight apparently had been in this situation before so he/she knew exactly what to do.

Craziness, I am flying US Airways to go home next weekend.

yup saw it outside my office window..we face the river right on 10th ave and have a telescope..saw the door being opened and it floating..it was moving down river real quick cuz of the tide

yeah the geese went straight into the engine, both engines shut down...we saw the rescue happening..the boats were surrounding the plane.
