think of it this way...when you're pouring caffeine down your throat, you're in a way "hypnotizing" your heart into thinking its stronger than it really is...beer muscles if you will. When you're drunk, we all think we're stronger than we really are right? Think we can punch through walls? Same with the heart...its beating faster and faster after being stimulated. When the effects of the caffeine wears off, it'll be like an "oh shit" moment for the heart. It really shouldn't have done what it tried to do.

Thats my gay analogy of for the day..

caffeine as a stimulant has been used for centuries and centuries, it didn't start with rockstar or redbull. i mean speculating without proper data on the effects of caffeine on the heart to be alarmist and prop yourself up as this "natural person" is more than retarded. working out in itself is NOT natural lol. going to the gym and lifting shit and trying to build a body that is clearly more "enhanced" than how your "natural" growth would take place is NOT natural.

its just funny, it's like a girl that colors her hair, shaves her bush/pits, puts on make up, puts on fake nails, and then says "i don't wear colored contacts because they are not natural" haha

pretty bad comparison..when drinking you have a false perception of yourself..whereas when you take caffeine your evoking a physiological response to a stimulant..your not "tricking" your heart..your pushing your heart harder..which is the point of cardiovascular exercise..to push your heart more so you can strengthen it

i agree that over-consumption of caffeine can elicit detrimental effects, but if you look at it that way, anything taken in absurd amounts will be bad for you..every time you go out and eat a McCheeseburger..your artificially fucking with your blood pressure from all that sodium your consuming

your blowing this caffeine coupled with exercise thing way out of proportion

green tea about 1/3 of caffeine as a std cup of coffee
you're better off drinking a coke/pepsi.. little more caffeine
indian tea is about 1/2 of the regular coffee

any tea in general is less caffeinated than coffee

      Tea works for me.
Tazo - Awake, or Organic Chai will get me through the day.
White Teas works even better than green I've noticed, but black is the best.

Amidst all this back and forth of if energy drinks are good, anyone have a recommendation on which of them is the "healthiest" for you which tastes a bit normal.
Monster Blue Lo Carb is not bad, but I just can't get over the 200% vitamin of this , or 200% vitamin of that. I doubt my body really needs that shit.
