We're planning to go this place to try it...well I'm not going to try it I will film it lol
idk i seen it i feel like i can def. handle it
The place is called Brick Lane in the city.
went there after watching this video in May
here is what i wrote on the other forum:
After my friend and I find parking (what a pain that is in the village but that's another story), we just sit in the car to ask one another if we're really going to go through with it. We slowly walk to the restaurant. When we locate it, we also see vomit outside the place. We do not know if it is Phaal-related at this point. I mean hey it is the village right? Could be a drunk college kid from NYU? We enter the establishment, we are greeted by the owner (the one in the video). There aren't many people seated but it is a weeknight and 10pm. Okay enough storytelling, I'll just get to the point.
There isn't much taste in the Phaal dish. It's just spicy. That's it. Well, I mean it's like eating fire. Almost like ash. It is not tasty (the other normal dishes are). However, it is very spicy. I tried everything to get it down my throat. Mix it with rice, fail. Mix it with paneer (cottage cheese), fail. Have it with Naan, fail. Chase it wht Mango Lassi (yogurt based drink), fail.
It defeated me.
well, there isn't gonna be any taste left, if its that spicy. All the taste will be diluted into spiced.
