Yooo guys....who can recommend good shops in Edison (Oak Tree Rd area I assume) that are geared towards bridal stuff....

Yes, my girl needs a reception outfit, and I have to get it for her...but I cannot walk from every store to every store....you guys have any ideas? Getting it from India is not one of them for the main reception outfit...I don't want headaches

Also maybe a reputable gold shop.....

Don't know about bridal shops but my parents have pretty always gone to Nina Jewellers.

The Mall at Oak Tree

Has some designer stores, never been but have heard good things, and I love Payal Singhal's stuff and Ritu Kumar and some of the other designers, not sure how much you're looking to spend, its a bit pricey but worth the one of a kind look.

The Mall doesn't have a great selection. IF it's a shotgun wedding you may need a bigger size and they aren't too good with that.

Does your future wifey have any say in what her outfit looks like? If so, have her go and pick it out and you get it for her?

The Payal Singhal store in the city has some AMAZING pieces or you can pick from her fabrics, etc and design something on your own.

gossip girl's post just started my brain! LOL i have seen this tradition before, how stupid of me, i completely forgot about it.

Yes, now that i think about it, the outfit really isn't about YOUR choice or HER's. rather it's about your MOM's choice. So your mom has to pick out the outfit and give it to her.

Here's the thing though you would like that outfit to match yours, so tell your mom to make sure it matches your suit.
