ok you can be tired of hearing about it, but its not like you could forget what happened correct? that was the point I was making to reshma...I think she got that...hence the whole there are other people in the world with worse issues....which is totally right...but americans on a whole are pretty selfish and only care about what effects them...lol.

      That was our conversation flow...

As far as your sad reality theory, if that is the case...then you're right...that is a VERY sad reality.

LOL @ you think I give a crap about your conversation flow.

Look you this is what you said:

RNC -> 9/11 -> cause we care in Tri-state -> cant forget -> hold our pillows at night crying to ourselves that a terrorist attack happen -> Hence why they (RNC) keep talking about it

That's what I am saying is BS.

We've moved on, nobody cares, we are paying our bills and living our lives, trying to keep our homes, and getting proper health care. They are again NOT talking to us. They don't care about us, they HATE us. I mean they are purposely making a dynamic that Obama is one of us so how could they possibly cater to us?

Whatev, I still think security is important. I think it's important for all of the US, to the extent that the Repubs are playing it too...i'm not sold on that. But it is important in my opinion of course.
Why worry about about terrorists bombing us when your own neighbor could some day burn you down in a riot. With the way this rich and poor gap is growing youll have LA riots everywhere. I am more scared of good ol' John Smith with his militia walking around mowing down people because of a food, energy, and housing crisis than I am of some Arab flying another plane into a building.

Let's not get it twisted. This is their brilliant strategy. Suck in this emotional violate women, comfort them with a strong conservative vagina and an old man (John Wayne impersonator), and repeatedly scare them into submission.

"LET US PROTECT YOU SOFT DELICATE WOMEN! LET US SAVE YOU FROM THE EVIL BOOGEYAHMEDS WITH THE BIG BEARDS AND SCARY EYES! LET FIRE BULLETS INTO THEIR GUTS WHILE YOU RUB AND TUG OUR BIG LOADED GUNS! AWW YOU HYSTERICAL WOMEN, COME HERE, LET US HOLD YOU AGAINST OUR HEAVING BOSOMS!"

Your taking it to an extreme...of course people live their daily lives, but that doesn't mean that people don't care...or that people have forgotten wtf has happened. I mean so many people have lost their lives! If you dont know someone who's lost someone then maybe its different for you. If you didnt have someone close to you working in the city, living in the city, schooling in the city and had to deal with the terror of thinking oh shit are they alive are they safe are they injured...it may be different to you.

      People can't just forget that...

and yes I know we're a blue state, ultra liberal etc...but you can't be like we don't care about security, iraq, all of that is also apart of the dem plans.

Also, I'm not saying RNC is catering to us or that their justified in doing it. All I said was why they were doing it...why don't you try to read the entire post before trying to spin shit the right wrong way with your extremes...YOU sure you're not republican??!?! you'd be suited for it with your spinnage routines...lol!

Well especially if you live in the tri-state area. It's still a constant struggle and we always have our guards up. It's not so much about reminding us, people are always going to have this tragic memory. It's definitely more along the lines of stop trying to manipulate us with fear tactics. Although I have noticed more and more people have realized what they're doing....

It's not different for me at all. I live only 2 hours away, I live 1 hour from philly and I live 3 hrs from DC. So I am basically near all the spots where all 4 of the planes went down. I have plenty of friends that work in the city, that worked in the city during that time, and one of most best friends worked in the WTC and we had no idea where he was that day. We didn't see him until late in the evening because the subways were closed and he could only make it back to NYC on foot. I am in constant communication with people in the City. I may not come there often any more (really I don't care too, waste of time and money) but I am in the loop.

So you can stop with the "close to you" crap, this state really isn't that big. Actually it's probably one of the smallest states in area in the entire country.

Nobody is saying the Dems don't care about security. I keep saying that the security bit is blown out of fuckin' proportion to the other problems at hand. The Dems are prioritizing what's more important: "it's the economy, stupid", not bogus fantasies about terror attacks to invade our rights as citizens.

So then you understand WHY I'm saying noone would really be able to forget. and why it's also a priority.

If your whole point is the republicans should prioritize more than SAY that...instead of going around in retarded ass circles with me saying nothing and taking FIFTEEN responses to get to that...

and I agree with you. As I've stated in my past post...they do lean too heavily on security and are holding less priority on finding alternative energy, on fixing the housing crisis, on the economy. I'm not disagreeing with that...

I think people are starting to wisen up to it as well....

You're not agreeing with me so stop with the overused marketing tactics. Goddamn it's so annoying. Read my posts and understand I am making a completely different point from you. You keep saying people here care as much as to warrant them talking about it, I don't. Hence we don't agree.

Jesus christ, you would think after so many years you would end this "I agree with... then go on to make a totally different point" ploy. It's fuckin' old.

      -sigh-

NO. I'm saying people here still care about what happened.

I'm not saying that warrants them to talk about it. I'm saying that they do regardless and people are wising up to it.

YOU were saying people don't care. People have moved on with their lives, etc etc etc...

and I'll tell you straight up, I disagree. Noone moves on from an experience like that...its always in the back of your mind.

so really you were arguing with me over semantics, or misreading, or misinterpreting.

fyi...i was agreeing with you about the repubs needing to focus more on the economy, housing and energy crisis we're in...shit i'll throw in the environment too...and THAT was what your previous post above was about...wtf?! at you not following the flow of conversation...

too lazy to read this e-arguement, but i wud like to just say that the reps using footage of 9/11 in their so called "tribute" was very distasteful and quite honesty, f****** pissed me off.
