Does it bother you to see an Ex unexpectedly at a party? - 07-28-2008, 10:58 AM

So this past weekend, I had one of my old school friends bday party, and i'm at the party...hanging out...mind you i know none of her NYC friends...which is fine..i'm pretty outgoing, no problems really meeting new ppl...when all of a sudden, from the corner of my eye...i see my ex...u know the effer who totally ripped my heart open...yah that guy...so during the night...i'm hanging with my friend...trying to ignore the fact that he's there and just enjoying my girlfriend's party...and throughout the night...he's forever just hovering in my line of vision...which annoys the hell outta me...because i can feel him watching me...i felt so uncomfortable that i left the party and went to the second party of the evening earlier than I originally attended...

anyway...bumping into asshole exs ftl...i dunno why i'm so irritated..lol!

I think it would bother me if I was single. Maybe also if he keeps staring but doesn't have the balls to come say hello.

Yah we're not on speaking terms...the only ex that I don't talk too...dude did a 180 transformation after we broke up...went from the nicest guy to the biggest jerkface...i guess it was just his way of dealing with the break-up ionno...

anyway, i didn't expect him to come say hi to me...i just wanted for the staring to stop...lol...

The only thing that I was about, was that he was at the party alone too...that kinda made me feel a little bit better I guess...lol!

No...trust me...he would NEVER come talk to me again...he's never wanted to talk to me after the breakup...he's wackolis...last time i saw him we got into one of those ex fights (years ago) where he said some pretty unforgiveable things...like he was lucky i didn't slap him for the nonsense he was talking (drunk nonsense)...just MEAN things...so whatev...i went my way and he went his...this is actually first time I've seen him in like 2 years...

Bad breakups are hard especially if you have the same friend circle.....

yah...that was a major argument we had as well...i was friends with some of his friends and he haaated that i would be around at parties and just act like a general jerkface to me and his friends who would invite me out...he's weird...i guess he just couldn't hack me being around...which i never understood since he broke up with me...

no it doesn't bother me because i've never had a bad breakup since i'm a smooth criminal...so I can't reallly relate. But I be seeing where you're comin from.

nope...I would only be kinda bothered by one ex in particular and even then it wouldn't be enough to make me not have a good time but I don't think I'll EVER run into him anywhere....besides him I'm on pretty good terms with all my ex's but I do get annoyed everytime I see nymyth some place I am lol
